Steady Stream of Tears By: Amber *Editor note: I don't know which Amber...Sorry!*

You said you’d never leave

That you would always be mine

But this steady stream of tears proves otherwise.

What changed in your head?

What changed in your heart?

I guess my love for you isn’t enough.

You were my burning light

That kept me going when things got dark;

You were my heart and soul

When I had nothing to give;

You were the first one in many things

And I wanted you to be the last;

But this steady stream of tears proves otherwise.

There is nothing I can say or do

To get you back.

There is so much I want you to know

But you won’t care.

You haven’t for a while

And I didn’t want to see it.

What can I do to make you see

That you are the one for me?

I know we are still young

And we have our lives to live,

But I have never felt this way before.

You helped me become who I am today

And for that I thank you,

But please realize that I still want you.

I know you don’t and won’t care

Even though you promised you would never hurt me

But this steady stream of tears proves otherwise.
